Sailing

I have been sailing for most of my life.

I completed the singlehanded transpacific race from San Francisco to Kaua'i in both 2002 and 2004 on a Santa Cruz 40.

I have sailed more than 10,000 solo open ocean miles. I designed and implemented autonomous systems to sail the boat. I wrote custom tactical dashboards and autopilot software that interfaces with embedded instrument systems via NMEA 0183 protocol.
