François Gabart is about to crush the record for a solo circumnavigation under sail.

He is 2500 miles ahead of the record pace. He is 2000 miles from the finish. He is averaging over 25 knots. He has ~260 hours to go 2000 miles, he'd break the record if he averages 8 knots. He'll probably average 3X that speed.
