Call Me

As a 22 year veteran of the intersection of media and technology (going back to the interactive video disc days) I have many views on the subject. Having been doing this for as long as I have, I have a different perspective on it than many bloggers. This is where I opine.

PDF unConference

We're back at Pace University today for the unConference part of Personal Democracy Forum 2007.

I've got high hopes. Yesterday was more like a lecture than a discusssion (although the Idea Market was excellent). At a certain scale it becomes unwieldy to have an interactive experience in a conference setting. The unconference format lends itself very well to small groups of passionate people to exchange ideas.

More Podcamp NYC Info

Great news. Podcamp NYC has just switched venues. They had maxed out the space at The New School so the organizers got a bigger space at The New Yorker Hotel at 481 8th Avenue at 34th Street.

So now you have no excuse not to come. Register now! Nic and I will be presenting Foneshow and talking about mobile podcasting (time TBA), come on by and join in.

Also... Just a quick shout out to John Havens who has done an awesome job putting this thing together.
